Feeding the 5000 serves up a delicious communal feast for 5000 people made entirely out of food that would otherwise have been wasted, bringing together a coalition of organisations that offer the solutions to food waste, raising the issue up the political agenda and inspiring new local initiatives against food waste

I will be speaking with Douglas McMaster (Silo Zero Waste Restaurant), Caroline Lucas MP, Olly Dawson (Community Chef/Olly’s Fish Shack), and Marion Sheehan (FareShare) amongst others.

Organised by Feedback Global, Brighton & Hove Food Partnership, Brighton & Hove City Council, FareShare, Friends of the Earth, Real Junk Food Project, Food Waste Collective, Freegle, University of Brighton, and the University of Sussex
